Now a days we are hearing lot about defense stocks after Minister of Defence announced that they are focusing to improve indigenous products , they are planning to increase buying made in India products.

So when you hear about defence sector you may know only famous companies like Midhani, BE, BDL, Zen Technologies but there are other companies also providing defence products like Ashok Leyland supplies service vehicles for Defence.


Here is the companies list provided by Minister of defence, we can use the list for our further study.




Ashok Leyland: Ashok Leyland has a product range from 1T GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) to 55T GTW (Gross Trailer Weight) in trucks, 9 to 80-seater buses, vehicles for defence and special applications, and diesel engines for industrial,genset and marine applications. With the fleet of logistics vehicles deployed in the Indian Army and significant partnerships with armed forces across the globe, Ashok Leyland helps keep borders secure.



BEML Ltd:

BEML a pivotal role to serve India’s core sectors like Defence, Mining, Rail, Power and Infrastructure. The Company operates under three major business verticals viz. Defence & Aerospace, Mining &Construction and Rail & Metro. It provides Medium Bullet-Proof Vehicle MBPV Mobile Standby Command Post Vehicle,Armoured Recovery & Repair Vehicle Arjun (ARRV).



Bharat Forge:
